Jangga Dolok Village
Tourists can go other places besides Samosir island. From Parapat it takes 24 km to the tourist attractions in Jangga Dolok, 50 km to the grave site of missionary Dr.I.L.Nommensen, 54 km to TP Arjuna Museum, 70 km to Balige, 100 km to Bakkara and 123 km to Tarutung.
Jangga Dolok village is located at the foot of Simanuk-manuk mountain and is in the centre of a broad rice cultivation area. We can see rows of Batak Toba cultural houses with original ornaments and palm fibre roofs which are covered by ferns.
