Architectural Heritage of the Dutch Colonial Era

There are several houses in Berastagi that display Dutch colonial era architecture. They are:

1. The Planter School (The Dutch School of Horticulture). It is now a guest house ( Ingan Ukur Guest house) and equipment office of AD Kodam I Bukit Barisan.

2. P. Vanlith (The Dutch Rest Military Barracks). Now it is the Koramil Barracks.

3. De Merel (The Dutch Rest House). Now it is the De Merel quest house.

4. Batavia Petrolium Mascapai (A wuest house owned by a Dutch oil company). Now it is the Bukit Kubu Hotel.

5. Deli Bamij (A Dutch Guest House). Now it is a resting house owned by PTPN. Jl. Udara Berastagi.

6. Wisma Sei Sikambing or Senembah Guest House. Now it is the Guest House.
